HeyClaude: A Community-Driven Resource Directory for the Claude Ecosystem

HeyClaude is an unofficial, community-maintained resource directory for Claude, designed to address the problem of scattered resources in the Claude ecosystem. It uses an open architecture (file-driven storage in a code repository, collaborative via GitHub workflows), covering over 385 entries including agents, MCP servers, skill packs, etc. It also serves as an Awesome List and a browsable directory, acting as a comprehensive resource hub for Claude users and developers.

As the Claude ecosystem grows rapidly, developers and users face the challenge of scattered resources—agent configurations, MCP servers, skill packs, and other resources are spread across various places, lacking a unified indexing and discovery platform, making it difficult to access resources efficiently.

HeyClaude divides resources into 10 main categories:

• Agents (39 entries): Dedicated Claude agents and expert role configurations
• MCP Servers (49 entries): Model Context Protocol servers and integration solutions
• Tools (52 entries): Apps and developer tools for Claude native builders
• Skills (68 entries): Installable skill packs and reusable capability modules
• Rules (29 entries): Prompt guardrails and operation constraint configurations
• Commands (27 entries): Slash commands and reusable prompt templates
• Hooks (66 entries, most numerous): Claude Code hooks and automation assistants
• Guides (19 entries): Long-form guides and practical tutorials
• Collections (10 entries): Themed resource combinations
• Status Bars (26 entries): Status bar scripts and workflow telemetry tools

The technical architecture uses file-driven management (resources are stored as structured files in a code repository, supporting version control and transparent collaboration). Access methods include:

• Website browsing: heyclau.de provides search and category browsing
• API access: Full REST API supports programmatic queries
• MCP endpoints: Read-only MCP servers and remote endpoints
• Subscription formats: RSS, Atom, LLM exports
• Raycast integration: Dedicated extension for quick resource lookup

The contribution process prioritizes Issues, offering three methods:

1. Use the categorized Issue form on the website's Submit page
2. Open the Issue template directly in the GitHub repository
3. Submit a Pull Request containing content files Quality verification requires running various checks such as content validation, Issue template validation, and security testing. After approval, the website is updated automatically.

Security Policy: Develop detailed package security requirements and security incident handling processes; open-source under the MIT license to ensure transparency and auditability. Ecosystem Integration: Collaborate with projects like Pi Coding Agent and OpenChamber to jointly promote the development of the Claude ecosystem.

HeyClaude has reduced the threshold for users to discover and utilize resources by integrating scattered resources, becoming a core hub of the Claude ecosystem. Future plans include adding resource categories, improving search recommendation algorithms, enhancing API functionality, and deepening tool integration—community feedback will be the core driving force.
