Claude Shared: A Cross-Project Shared Library for Claude Code Skills and Agent Configurations

Claude Shared is a repository for sharing Claude Code skills and agent configurations across projects, designed to address the problem of inconsistent AI-assisted development configurations in multi-project environments. Through mechanisms like shared skill templates and agent configurations, it helps teams establish standardized AI-assisted workflows, improve development efficiency and collaboration quality, and reduce communication costs and error risks caused by configuration differences.

With the popularization of AI coding assistants like Claude Code, independent configuration of AI behaviors across multiple projects leads to inefficiency and cognitive friction. Claude Shared was created to address this, providing mechanisms for sharing skills and agent configurations to ensure consistency and predictability of cross-project development workflows.

The Claude Code skill system allows extending AI capabilities through custom skills, which include four core elements: trigger conditions, context information, action guidelines, and output specifications. Teams can encode domain knowledge and coding standards into skills, turning AI into an intelligent collaborator that understands project context.
