BotKiller: Exploration of a Decentralized P2P Protocol for AI

BotKiller is a decentralized P2P protocol project released by NaK-53999216 on GitHub (May 29, 2026). Its core goal is to liberate AI computing power from the centralized infrastructure of big tech companies via a dual-token economic model, build a censorship-resistant, distributed intelligent computing network, and realize the concept of "unstoppable AI". The project focuses on AI democratization and aims to make AI computing a globally accessible public resource.

The current AI ecosystem is highly dependent on centralized infrastructure controlled by a few tech giants, with issues such as regional blockades, account bans, censorship risks, and high API costs. BotKiller aims to change this landscape: through a decentralized P2P network, it lets AI computing power truly belong to global users. Its core concept is "unstoppable AI"—no central server, no corporate control, no single point of censorship risk, and it can operate as long as the Internet exists. This aligns with Bitcoin's decentralized philosophy but focuses on AI computing.

BotKiller network consists of three core participants:

1. Workers: The network's computing engine. They receive AI tasks, perform inference/training, and return results. Their earnings are tied to network demand, enabling elastic response to computing power supply.
2. Auditors: Verify the results from Workers. They need to stake BOKI tokens to participate; cheating will result in the forfeiture of staked tokens, and verification records are on-chain and traceable.
3. Regular Users: Use AI services by purchasing "Credits". The Credit design prioritizes price stability to avoid the impact of cryptocurrency volatility on user experience.

BotKiller uses a dual-token system to separate user experience and incentive mechanisms:

• Credits: For end-users, used to pay for AI services. Price stability is prioritized so users can clearly estimate costs.
• BOKI Token: The carrier of network value and core of incentives. Workers and Auditors earn BOKI by contributing computing power/verification services. As the network scales and security improves, BOKI's value is expected to grow, forming a positive flywheel: the more successful the network → the higher BOKI's value → the stronger node incentives → the more sufficient computing power → the lower user service costs.

The project currently implements the basic smart contract for BOKI tokens (BotKillerToken.sol), with core functions including: fixed total supply (to avoid inflation), founding team allocation, support for Auditor staking, and on-chain verification records (tracked via the ValidationRecorded event). Additionally, it provides a deployment page that can be hosted on GitHub Pages, integrates a MetaMask donation process, and supports users to donate POL tokens via the Polygon network, lowering the barrier to participation.

BotKiller represents the trend of AI being liberated from closed corporate data centers, granting equal access to global developers and the general public. In an era where AI has become a core production factor, this has far-reaching political and economic significance. Technically, P2P AI networks face challenges such as latency optimization, result verification, privacy protection, and incentive mechanism design. BotKiller's dual-token model and audit mechanism provide initial solutions to these problems, making it an experiment worth industry attention.
